Hello, New to this Forum

Hi there! I am 34 and 5'4" tall, and a year ago I saw an old school friend who made a comment that made me hit rock bottom. I finally started doing something about my weight. I started at around 217lbs and lost 58 lbs in about 8 months. I then plateaued. Trying to do anything to change my eating or exercise regime to get me losing again. Nothing was working so I got a personal trainer that cost a small fortune and didn't lose weight but I lost a bit of inches. Not much really to speak of. I was so upset about it. I eat a vegetarian diet but I am sure to include good sources of Veg. protien. I also drink whey powder balancing my meals. My job requies me to walk 2 1/2 hrs daily (5x'a a week) and I also am going to the gym 5 times a week. ( that is 1/2 hr cario each time- 5x's a week and and 1/2 hr to 45 min of weight training each time - 3x'a a week. I am sure to drink my water. Last May I was on med. that I believe made me gain aprox 25 lbs back. As nothing changed as far as diet and exercise goes. I am finished with my med. this week I am hoping to get back on track. For some reason i cannot get below 165 / 160 lbs. I am currently back up to 188 lbs. I am hoping I can finally get this off. Thanks for the help. NIce to meet you all.
p.s. Wishes you are truely an inspiration. I saw your pics and damn you look sooo good!:seeya:

touchy subject, but the medication didnt make you gain the weight sorry (not unless it was made fat calories or something). Weight loss/gain is all about calories in vs calories out.

Good on you for what you've accomplished though, thats awesome. Good to see you here on the forum, i look forward to seeing your posts :)
