Hello everyone! My name is Michelle and I am a newbie here. I am 16 years old and I am very glad to be here because I can relate to alot of what you guys say about weight loss. All through my childhood, I have been overweight and had very low self-esteem. When I was a freshman in high school, I decided to change my life by loosing weight and improving the way I eat. I started off weighing 172 when I was 15 years old, now I am 16 going on 17 (I'll be 17 Feb 13th) and now I weigh 129 pounds. I feel so much better about myself and about the way I eat, and I feel very fortunite to have gotten this far. Now instead of eating junk food and very fatty food for meals, I now eat very heatlhy food and when I do eat high calorie food, I don't deprive myself of it, but rather just put it in moderation. I love to snack on fresh fruit and veggies, and sometimes soy chips, fish crackers, and low calorie enery bars. For exercise, I go to an awesome fitness place called "Curves" and I have started running 3 times a week (always use to walk briskely, but have steped it up to running). I also do push-ups, and crunches 3 times a week, and I'm going to start doing squats. I look forward to talking to all of you here and I hope to get to know all of you
