Hello, new guy here

Hey folks. My girlfriend joined up today, and thought it was a good idea. I've been overweight since I was about 8 years old (I'm 19 now), and I really want to lose a lot of weight due to health concerns, I just have no idea where to start or what to do.

A good place to start, is to get an understanding of calories - how much are you bringing in on a daily basis.

The only way to know that is by counting.

You might want to check out or bot are sites for tracking calories, nutrition and fitness.

Just know that dropping your calories too low is not a good idea - better to start out with small improvements along the way then drop of exhaustion, or being fed up within two weeks!

Also - don't look too far down the road of your ticker without realizing that yes, this is a long journey - but it CAN be accomplished! You CAN lose this weight. It's one pound, one day, and sometimes one meal at a time - but you CAN reach your goal weight.

Chui, I am a guy. The best way to loose weight is to:

1) get all that is needed for body: vitamins, nutrients, proteins
2) do some sort of walking around or just pacing as exercise (do extra)
3) weigh yourself regularly and keep a chart
4) make sure to include flavorless yogurt in your diet everyday.

and enjoy the fast downfall of those lbs values!
