If you want abs then look at your diet first, most people have OK ab definition if their bodyfat is low enough. Other than that, just get a balanced routine that covers your whole body.
In the weight training session there is a weight training 101 sticky to read which is a fantastic starting point

But you're Irish! You can't go out in the sun anyway!

to eatmybum--- those abs and such need to be built on the one hand and starved on the other.

SO-- workem-- focus on the movement, stretch them open...

and cut out sugar, white flour, drink more water, add flax seed, crap twice a day... give it 90 days,,,, and voila!

oh- and that will fix tampon's problem too., or is it typhon... never can get that right!

Calculating BF is rather inaccurate, so don't get worried :)

Ideally people say that a good marker is 15%BF... However you have to take into account height, age and all that jazz.

Do what FF' says and you'll be well on your way, GL!
 
15% for a man is pretty good and equivalent to about 20% for a woman. So, you don't have too far to go.
