Hey names chris.
Well here's a bit of a brief history. I once weighed 240lbs of fat and weakness then I joined the USMC and came out of boot camp at 165. Worked hard, trained hard and made 2 deployments as an infantry marine. 8 months ago I was wounded and sent to the hospital. I spent a little over 5 months there and when I was released I was 219 lbs
Well my wife left me on the basis that I was un attractive and some other things. So I decided I was going to get into the best shape of my life, for myself and to show her a few months from now and rub it in her face.
Well I never really paid attention to what I was eating. I was marine and got my ass kicked every day in PT (physical training) At the hospital I think it caught up with me. So I started this new program fitday.com and have been working my ass off for 5 days now. Haven't cheated once. I eat right around 1,540 calories a day, one glass of milk in the morning, pound water all day, and one glass of green tea before bed. I run 30-45 minutes in the evening combined with basic calisthenics and massive amounts of pull ups. I realize my calories are a bit low but I'm trying to cut the weight as fast as possible, then when I get down around 175 I;m going to start concentrating on weight lifting. I do go to the gym now, 3 times a week.
Anyways thats enough for one post. Wish me luck, and any comments or questions would be greatly appreciated. Since I moved here from the hospital I know absolutely nobody except my next door neighbors. Now that my wife left i'm really reaching out for some kind of support network. I hope that this can be what I need.
