Hello - I'm new

Hello there i kinda stumbled across this forum via a google search
I am a runner firstly but without any real strength and this year (have had a few niggles etc) and feel the need to get stronger but not to the detriment of my running.
So i'm here to get ideas of what to do i know my core needs some work (am 39) and upper body strength. Also a physio mentioned i had tight quads so working on those too.
Really i want more time on the road and less time on the bench.
