Hello, I'm new.

Hello everyone!:) I've been lurking around on this forum since this past weekend and finally got the guts to post something.

I started going back to the gym (after 3 years) and want to lose weight and keep it off! Of course I am extremley overweight for my body height (5'4) and frame size (apparently it's medium) and have lots to work on. Anyway, I was reading fitness magazine and it recommended to register to a weight loss forum to keep me motivated.From the looks of the friendly enviornment that I have been observing, it looks like this will keep me so! In the past week I've lost my first pound, but still lots to go, obviously(but it feels great!). I have changed my eating habbits and been excercising regularly so I think I am getting off to a good start! Can't wait to start posting!

:jump: Congrats on that first pound & more importantly the decision to take care of yourself & make the improvements you want to see!

This place is amazing & I know its kept me on track many times when I wanted to lose focus & forget all about it.

You should try out the diaries & challenges. It can be a lot of fun to watch the tickers move.. the way we want to at least!
