Hi Everyone!


Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Jaime...I am a 32 year old female. I would really like to lose 75 pounds, and don't know where to begin. I am a single mom and am taking on this challenge alone, so I thought maybe this would be a good source of support! Of course I have tried every fad diet there is, but have never stuck to anything. This time, I know, is different. I want it. I am dedicated to it, and I know there is no miracle fix. I need to make a lifestyle change. wish me luck!

Good Luck in making a lifestyle change...it's the only thing that will result in permanent weight loss.

Welcome! I would suggest trying to avoid overwhelming yourself by trying to change too many things at once. Pick one or two changes each week or two that you feel confident that you could stick with long term. For example, you could start with trying to take a 10 minute walk per day (if you aren't doing anything currently) and increasing your daily water intake. Just focus on that for a week, then the next week, add 5 minutes to your daily walk, and maybe try cutting up a bunch of veggies that you can have for snacks throughout the week.


Continue on that way and before you know it, you'll have made a lot of positive, healthy changes.


Do you have any plans yet for what you would like to do? Gym, home workouts, etc?
