Hello i'm knew!

So this is my first time joining a forum of any kind. I'm a little shy. Anyway I am for the first time trying to be healthier and more active. I have never been into sports(or good at them), and have always been a fan of relaxing at home with a good book or movie. I guess I am a couch potato. I also work overnights and find I have little motivation to workout. So I have been eating healthier and trying to add in exercise but find its hard to keep a routine. I also Love sweets :( which is a problem. I would love suggestions if anyone has advice.
 
Hi Emmy, I am new here too! I joined 2 days ago. Maybe we can make this journey together. So far, I find this place a very nice and informative place to be. I love the threads that are labeled "sticky." They have a lot of info. I am looking forward to getting to know you.

Nice to meet you as well MaryKS . Everyone here seems to be very supportive. It's nice to have a community of people with some of the same struggles.

I'm Angie. I lost over 60 pounds naturally and have kept it off for over two years now!

It sounds like you are on the right track. Cut back on your daily calories and increase your physical activity. Instead of sweets, try fresh fruit or raisins and nuts!
