Hello! I'm FatxKat :D

Hello, my name is Kat. A lot of people seem to think the "fatxkat" thing is too negative and hard on myself. I first used the name "fatxkat" on YouTube when I filmed a Chris Farley-inspired dance video flailing my fat around. At that point I had already lost 20 lbs, so at 5'1" and 176 lbs I felt like the sexiest, skinniest thing in the world!

That was about a year ago, though, and the initial weight loss (which I lost on a program called The Fitness Model) euphoria has sort of faded. I did manage to get down to 160 and I've kept it off this whole time (which is an accomplishment I suppose... I just don't really feel that great about it anymore), but I'm still not thin, which is my goal.

Plus, I'm super lazy and I never want to do anything... I don't even want to start up this program again. :drooling: I was just thinking last night about how great I felt every day when I exercised and how happy I was, and how much fun I had posting in my live journal and talking to all my weight-loss-journey friends.

This time I'm going all the way, baby. No year-long "breaks" for me! xD

Wow that was way longer than I initially intended. o_o;

good luck! you seem pretty determined!
lets just watch these breaks we take ^_~
if i would have started back in november when i
joined i would be alot farther than waiting till january...
=T putting things off only screws us over.

I heard that :p It's so easy to get caught up in reading all the facts and all the 'best' workout plans, and all the articles etc. before we really just jump in and get started...

It sounds like you've made at least some progress... that's awesome!

20 pounds in 6 weeks =D
D: i could be to 40 if i wouldnt have
overwhelmed myself with trying to change
too many things at once -_______-

Wow, that's amazing! I hope those huge results keep up for you. Nothing more confidence boosting than being able to see results so quickly. Try not to worry about what "could have" been, 'cause you're doing so good now!

But that is some very important advice -- don't do too much at once. You may feel all gung-ho now, but you will tire yourself out; take it from us! Lol

exactly... back in november i started out...
-10 miles a day
-strength training everyday
-flexibility
-1200 calories
-8 glasses of water
-pilates

... i made it through 2 days... and quit...

on the 12th of january, i started doing 4 miles a day... everyday... nothing else... then i slowly started adding on... now i can do up to 8 =D
