Hi, Im 15 and i weigh about 250 pounds and im 6"0ft tall.

I'm basically a couch potato, sit around watching tv all day, Computer, i love video games and i play them rather and exercise.

I also get a sorta craving every 10-20mins where i go to the kitchen and grab what ever is edible.

Ive tried to lose weight before but ive either gotten bored, or i have not fulfilled
my goal, im often teased at school about my weight and thats one of my motivations, And i wouldnt mind Getting a look or two from girls.

Any help or suggestion would be Really appreciated. thanks again.

Hi Venox.

First off, my honest advice is to start making a change in your lifestyle now while you are so young... It doesnt have to be over night, you have so much time in front of you.

Start making small changes and you will be surprised what you can accomplish.

To start.

1. get rid of soda-pop. If you need diet to replace that is fine (in my opinion, but some people are very anti sweetener)... Water, water, water. It can be a tough transition, but i have found 4c's totally light to go (ice tea flavored) is a great way to get off the pop if you like tea.

2. Start being more active. Even some of the dance or wii games can help.

I think this is a basic start. From there start looking at diet and exercise. Time really is on your side. Make small positive changes and you will be hitting your late teens to early 20's in stride.

I really wish i would have decided to make a change in my teens. I waited until i was 30 =( soooo much regret... Now is the time buddy, you can do it. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Hey! thanks for your advice ISeeNoChanges! well about your soda pop advise, i dont Drink soda as often as teens do, if im at a party, i look for water, No water? 1cup of soda is fine, in my house soda is an option only when guest are coming, i prefer to drink water than soda, drink more than 2 gallons a day if im accurate

Sup. I'm in high school and can relate to being insecure about one thing or another. My advice would be to start small. You can't just be like "oh I'm going to go run 10 miles and be healthy." No, you have to build up into a routine you will follow and enjoy.
1. Go outside everyday and do something you'll enjoy
2. Eat healthy. No Sugar or fried stuff. you'd be surprised at how many delicious healthy foods there are.
3. Find a way to keep your goal in mind.
