Hello, I can't believe I'm doing this...

Hi Everyone! How are you all doing? Well I'd like to introduce myself. First I cannot believe I am on here, because I never though I'd be blogging or on a forum to loose weight but I'll give this a try. My name is Mary Im 22 years old and have been chubby basically since I was 7 years old. I lost my baby fat around the age of 16 but I still weighed 160 pounds... Now after being in a 4 year relationship with my lovely boyfriend I have reached 190 pounds and its time to get rid of it!!! I have lost 8 pounds ( I was so scared to reach 200) And its time for me to get to business.. I'm a senior in college studying business Finance with plans to obtain my MAsters and PhD.. So you'd like I should be able to loose this weight right? Well thats basically a bit about me!

I scanned through some posts here and saw so many happy endings that I thought maybe I should join, share a little before and mid pictures and hopefully end up with a happy met my goal picture also.. The number of my weight is not an issue to me but more the way I look in the mirror. I have alot of self confidence in the body I have right now but it takes alot of work to look good and dress nicely so I'd like that to all become easier :)

I look forward to chatting with many of you and hopefully hearing a ton more success stories!
 
Good luck with your weight loss! And hey, you're 8 lbs into the game. Consistency is the key and holding yourself accountable. A blog or a daily journal is an excellent way to start.

Hey, welcome to the forums! You seriously will not meet a nicer or more supportive group for helping you in your weight loss transformation, so if you need help, advice, or just somebody to talk to, you've come to the right place! :D

Like these fellows said, I would definitely consider starting a weight loss diary. It's a great way to get some accountability for yourself about your habits, and it can not only show you how you're changing your diet and exercise habits, but how you need to change them.
