Hello, I have just joined. I am a serial fad dieter, have probably tried most of the diets you have heard of and some invented by me lol.
Must say I have started running last year and I am competing in races now. The next one is the half-marathon in July in our little seaside town.
Anyway, the reason I am here is because I have been overweighed most of my life. Have been yo-yo dieting (not on purpose, obviously!) since I was 16. I have recently became single after a 7 yr relationship and at first I have lost a lot of weight (new dental braces probably helped too- I am 27 by the way-waaay too old to have them). But. I have a serious biscuit addiction (sounds weird but true), having a stressful job does not help.
This may be another short term weight loss, but hoping I would stick with it this time. I am trying to analize my moods and believe that once I have overcome the big changes in my life I could do it.
So, I just wanted to let you know I am here and starting a 10 week regime on Monday (will be taking my mum on holiday in August). Wish me luck...
Plus good luck to all of you guys dieting/exercising out there! I know it is hard but we can do it (if we really want to)! xx
