Hi my name is Krystal I'm 24 I have gotten to a point in my life where I am no longer happy with my body I'm only 5' and am up to 146 pounds. With me being short the weight really shows. I work around 70 hrs a week which doesn't leave much time for me to exercise. I don't eat a lot of sweets but my eating habits are not great I seem to forget to eat till I'm starving or just don't have time to eat. Which leads to 1 or 2 meals a day. I'm hoping to buy a treadmill in the next week as the only time I have to exercise is in the middle of the night. I've been considering diet pills to help. There are just so many on the market now. I had luck in the past with metabolife 356 (sp) which they don't make now. I tried relacore with no results. I know diet and exercise will help but I think my metabolism may be so screwed up I may need some help.

I have been watching what I eat counting calories and no fast food other than salads for about 2 weeks but I find it really hard to eat more than twice a day. I've been trying to have snacks.

Glad to join the forum I've been reading and learning a lot.

Glad you are here!

I have to say that I think the best way to lose it is through diet & exercise, not any pill. If there was a SAFE magic pill that worked, we would all be fabulously perfect. Oh well....

I understand about your time crunch. Wonder if there are some small changes you could make, like wearing a pedometer & increasing the steps you take each day, or taking the stairs, parking further,... all those little things that add up.

I also live in NC & am amazed at the fast food places around here...its EVERYWHERE....& so easy. I think its a lot of my problem. Anyway there are alternative that take a little work, but its all in an effort to achieve a better you, so why not? You are worth it. :) I use Sparkpeople.com to track what I am eating daily. Helps to really see what all I was taking in.

I heard a statistic once that talked about how weight loss is 80% diet (or eating in a healthy way) & only 20% exercise. So focus on what you have time for. Make a few changes & stick with 'em, then add a couple more.

It all comes down to calorie in versus calories out. You can reduce them by the exercise or decreasing intake.

Good luck.
