Hi. I registered hoping to have a source for knowledge and motivation. I've always had this thing of bulking up over winter. I love being outdoors but don't like cold, dreary weather. I've always been able to drop 10-15 lbs once spring arrives, but the last couple of years my winter weight has been getting higher. This year is even worse because I got a layoff in August. My job always kept me at least somewhat active year round, but this year I've bulked up pretty quick once the weather started to get ugly. I'm now in the worst shape of my life and I'm determined to do something about it before things get too far out of hand. I don't have any really ambitious goals yet. I just want to be able to walke up a hill without running out of breath after 100' and ride my motorcycle down my favorite roads without my legs turning to jello.
