Hello from Acworth, GA!!

Hello everyone!

New here and hoping to find some help and support in loosing weight.
I have tried so many times and gotten no where fast or even bigger thats it's not funny. I really want to do this more than anything else in the world.

I joined a 24/7 Golds Gym right by my house as the first step. I was hoping that commiting to spend the money for a year would get me to go, but so far I have been skipping. It's really hard to excercise and I feel like I tire out before I really do any good for myself.

I wish I didn't like food so much :drool5:

Nice job on joining the gym. I also always believed (up until this year) that exercising was the ONLY way to lose weight. The fact is that isn't even the way of losing weight. Is only partially an answer.

The fact is that 70% of the food you eat is used by basic body functions. Only 20% of calories burned in the body are from exercise.

What that means, is without a food plan that favors a regular calorie deficit, you may have a difficult time burn body fat.

What are your details - age, gender, weight, height, etc. Also what is the question that you have about losing weight?

I guess I am just simply trying to figure out how to not want the food.
I know there's no easy answer to that, and to make it worse everyone around me is large and likes to eat. I am trying to make some new friends with like minded goals, but thats not easy to do.

Guess I am just complaining and trying to gather my thoughts.
