I just thought I'd take a minute and say hi. I'm a male, 30-ish, and on a weight-loss program.
In March 2008 I topped out at 225 lbs. In ten years I put on 95 lbs. of fat. Soda pop, fast food, and junk food were the culprits. Actually, my own behavior was the culprit, the poor diet and lack of exercise were just the means to the end result of obesity.
Four months into my weight-loss program I have lost about 33 lbs., half-way to my goal of weighing 160 lbs. My method is the tried-and-true way of losing weight: sensible eating and regular exercise.
Being fat is no fun. You look like crap and you feel like it as well. I signed up to share experiences with others in the same situation as me. Perhaps I can learn a thing or two or convey some of my knowledge to others. Also, I think we can end up motivating each other to reach our goals and not give up before we meet the finish line.
Good luck to you all in the battle of the bulge!
