I'm so excited!

So besides this motivational forum to drive me....a co-worker of mine has invited me to go with her to the ESPY's as a seat filler! I don't care where I sit...well I do...but I'm SO FRRRRIIIGGGIIINNN excited! I LOVE SPORTS. Not to mention...Justin Timberlake is hosting! I've got to look and feel HOT! The show's also going to be at the new Nokia Theatre across the street from Staples.

is like as the grammy's is to music..the espy's is to sports. i'm just so excited to see all my favorite players...in ALL sports!!!! i'll sneak in my camera and hopefully snag some pics! maybe we'll sneak our way in the after parties!!!

seat filler...is this thing where you are casted through a company who does seat filling for awards shows. so like celebs sit in the front rows and they need ppl to fill seats in between while ppl arrive, go to the bathroom, don't show up...so on. i hope we get close!

Thats a really tough one, I'm really just a fan of the game... but if I had to pick 5...

1) Kobe (sure hes got attitude but hes the best shooter/slasher in the game, not to mention his defence)
2) Chris Paul (amazing young talent, makes his team so much better, has blazing speed)
3) Lebron James (not near the shooter kobe is, but more power around the basket, dominates at will)
4) Dwight Howard (next great big man, best center, will make his place in history)
5) Tayshaun Prince (most people wouldn't add him, I think he's an amazing player, well balanced between 3pt, inside shot, defence, etc... an all around great player)

Honorable mention: Tim Duncan (prob best forward of all time, just so boring to watch), Derron Williams (could give chris paul a run for his money, just don't think he has as much talent), Manu Ginobli (great all around player like Prince, I'd have him on the list... but the guy comes off the bench :D), Shaq (sure like... 5 years ago, hes too old)

Awesome picks...Tayshaun doesn't surprise me b/c I think his game is pretty tight all around...can drive with the best of them even in him slim stature and has that all-day shot! I remember when he was a rookie and was cutting the lane smashing on fools! Shaq :troll: can suck my BIG TOE after that sloppy fake rap he dished out to Kobe. Kobe is hands down for me too...do you play fantasy bball? I do for kicks...I love the competition among friends! We have "draft" parties...dorks it tell ya!

I'll see if I can snag some pics when I go. If I do, I'll be sure to send them! Have a great workout at the gym b/c I know that's where you're headed!!! Take it easy though!
 
Kobe talked all that crap about shaq cheating on his wife a while back. I don't really care about the drama side of the nba. I just wanna watch basketball, don't care what they do when they aren't playing.
 
yeah, but that was truth. shaq made a move on my cousin...to no avail...in vegas while he was married :willy_nilly: and it panned out the same way.

i agree...on the court off the court...whatever...it's just funny how sh** goes down sometimes. granted kobe's not the fav amongst his peers but he's pretty respected in the game...now...that he's stepped it up as a team player.
 
Yeah, I'm sure it is true. Just because things are true though, doesn't mean its his job to voulenteer that information though. Kobe is a great talent, like I said, I think hes the best individual player in the NBA. I think Chris Paul has more of an effect on his team though.
 
yeah that was pretty shady...low blow at that. i felt like he outted shaq b/c he himself was going thru that messy rape allegation.

cp3 is awesome...he's going to be fun to watch throughout his career.
 
Yup, same with Dwight Howard. His points, boards, and blocks go up every year. He's only 22 years old too. He will be phenominal.
