Well crap...I won't be posting over there. Paula had a post in the thread that said I have to be able to go to Vegas in November...its on bold print, lol. Don't think she saw my post to you and Alta that I can't go. I'll just have to find somewhere else to plug in or wait for you guys to come back in November and start a new challenge, lol.
 
I have a question for Paula...she sent me to the chippendales team and I realize they're changing their name but it still seems to be a guy team. I saw suggestions for new names that were still for guy teams. Being as I'm 100% female is that still where I'm suppose to join? lol
Looks like you've already figured it out but yes, that particular team is "co-ed" so to speak. When we started the challenge, we had all women interested so we formed our first two teams. Then Shaun came along so we thought it would be fun to get a guys team together. There hasn't been enough "male" interest to fill that team and Alane wanted to join so we just mixed that team up. Right now it has 2 guys and 1 girl with 1 open spot... sorry to hear you can't join us in Vegas... check out the challenge section of the forum for other possible challenges.

Alane, we know you're 100% woman too hun! Lucky you to have guys on your team! They lose weight FASTER than we do! ;)

I believe that will be our team name. Snap and myself like it as well so lets go with it :). As soon as MJ or Paula can change the thread title I'm sure they will. I saw some kind of "Spartan 300" workout online once. It seemed pretty intense. Might have to get into the spirit and try it out. I'll let you know the details.

YUppppp KINDERGARDEN is RIGHT......

BUT JELLO: SPINNING is GOOD, at the GYM, and BELIEVE me....when I STARTED going to the GYM....no ONE would go with me....then I SOON became a REGULAR because I would go at the SAME time, SAME place, and ALL you have to do is SMILE and ASK someone for TIPS and THEN they feel GREAT about helping a FELLOW gym GOER to GEAR you in the right DIRECTION!

AND in no time, people start NOTICING your PROGRESS, smile, wave at you, and THEN,....WHALA.,....gym BUDDIES!!!

AND start a THREAD like she said...WE"LL drop in at LEAST!!! ROOTING for ya JELLO!!! ;)

Well...I'm pretty busy at work...but to show up SOME FOLKS on here...here is what I ate yesterday.

Morning: Black Coffee...w/ 4 Splenda + 1 cup Oatmeal + 1 banana
Morning Snack: Orange + 2 cups hot green tea
Lunch: Bowl of organic chicken soup from this "green" lunch truck that comes to my Company
Dinner: 1 Grilled Chicken Breast w/ terriyaki sauce + Fist size portion of sauteed beef w/ large portion of steamed veggies (carrots, cabbage, cauliflower) w/ big cup of OJ

TODAY...

Morning: Black coffee...w/ splenda again. I love coffee! fat free yogurt parfait w/ peaches, strawberries and whole grain oats.
No Morning Snack...still full!
Lunch: Organic chicken salad...dressing on the side
Not sure about dinner yet!
Vitamins...C, Multi & B-12...need to re-stock others.

Alta...guess what...my Mama is doing Lindora...she started yesterday! I'm so proud of her...it brings TEARS to my eyes b/c she so deserves to be healthy and to live a long life! So I'm doing this with my family too!!!!

She is on a 10 week program and goal is to lose 20lbs...Wooohh WOhhhhh!

Honestly...I was soooo starving this morning and was soooooo tempted to stop and get fast food. Thank God I didn't! I feel :blush5:
 
Yea great job :D I had the urge to go out to eat today too...when my husband and I used to go out to dinner it was some of the few times we actually sat down and talked across from eachother without distractions. Gonna have to find a new way to do that. I can't afford the gym right now but I'm still working on him to start walking with me. Anyway we didn't go out cuz I decided I didn't want to spend the money and everytime we go out lately we end up not sticking to our diets even though we could. Last time we ate out at a place that brings you baskets of the best yeast rolls ever...thats all it took, lol. Anyway the food you eat is so healthy, your food journal kicks butt :D Good job on that too!

Well I'm trying a new bread recipe trying to find that perfect low carb bread so I'm off to check the oven :)

Good for both of us! I LOVE eating out..just the whole to-do about it. However, it comes with all the extras too. You're doing it JELLO! Lead your man by example! If you go...he will follow :leaving:

Boooo for the STUPID girl at the GYM telling you to put MORE WEIGHT ON the MACHINE~~!

I hope that YOU post YOUR progress and YOUR exercises in YOUR thread TOO, so that OTHERS who aren't part of the CHALLENGE too can CONGRATULATE you!!!


GOOOD job on YOUR 2lbs...and YOUR calf WILL feel WAY better WITH YOGA today!!!! I HOPE!! I KNOW how it feels TO PULL something!!! :(
