Hello! Fitness chick here!

Hey everyone!

My name is Liz and I'm big into fitness. I'm currently in school to be a nutritionist (I just started biochem, eeek!) and am weighing in at 164cm, 55kg, 18% body fat. My goals are to get down to 14 before next years fitness comps and 16 before the end of this year.

My fiancee and I are in a competition to see who can loose the most body fat in a month. I know it seems like I got the raw end of the deal but unlike my man, I've got self control! I just bake cookies and let him eat them all! Terrible, I know! Currently he's at 18.2% which PISSES him off. How bad is it when your missus has less body fat than you!? Ha!

I came here because I am SICK of people telling me I can't be fit or train to a modest 14% without steroids, telling me I'm gonna look like ****, saying I'm gonna be too muscular. SCREW THEM. I'm not going for 7 or anything (but good on ya those who are!)... my trainer is at 5.1% currently and is a muy thai champion in Australia. HE gets it.

My fiancee is thrilled with my fitness interests. He really likes all the body types I'm showing him that I'm going for. I even caught him feeling up my abs the other day! Not bum or boobs for this man. Yay!

He's working to look like Triple H and with his body type I think he can. I've already posted heaps of inspirational photos everywhere I can and I've been running an hour a day and gymming it 15 hours a week minimum. My diet has been great and I've never felt better in my LIFE.

So **** all the haters, I thought I'd come here.

Whoops, long intro!

hi there! your very enthusiastic and have clear goals. i hope i find someone like that! welcome to the forum!

Do what you want to do, thats what i say. I mean seriously, as long as you arent riding around on a scooter because you are so lazy that you became that fat, i dont rag on peoples workout routines/ideals. I may think your form is crap and that you are going to hurt yourself, but i probably wouldnt tell you because you would take offense;)

But really having goals combined with a competition is a great way to get started, im in the same boat. Good luck.

Also I am really considering trying to move to Australia someday. It may just be wishful thinking, but hey, dream big right? Plus im in the military right now so for the next couple years, my location is not of my choosing.

I wouldn't take offense! I love workout tips. And see? I knew a fitness forum would be WAY more understanding than my friends in real life. They don't get it. They think I want to be some steroid chick and that's not it at all! :(

Hey it's not wishful thinking. I moved to Australia from America four years ago when I was barely 19 with two suitcases and two hundred dollars. The money is so good here I now I have a 4 bedroom house, two cars and a motorcycle! In four years! If I can do that, someone with way more experience under their belt can totally do it!

Ill take the australia thing into more consideration, but only time will tell.

Also remember to use the journal section of the forums, so you can keep tabs on yourself, food wise and workout wise. I started one that i will start logging tomorrow. Even keep a small pad of paper to write everything down throughout the day and then log it on the page at night.

Good luck and see you around.
