Hello, My name is Dylan as you can probably tell, I am 19 years old and currently trying to lose weight. I am 225 pounds and hope to lose 45 pounds. I feel confident in my new found discipline as I have turned my life around before in terms of weight loss but unfortunatly fell out of my routine and slowly gained quite a bit of weight. I was working in a restaurant as a kitchen porter for 6 months recently where I had access to very rich, creamy and fatty foods 3 times a day for staff food and did not resist the temptation to eat what was given to me for free. Oh well, I made the decision to do so and made that mistake so it is time to change that. I have already been in a good pattern for the last 2 weeks, I am back to my old routine of 1 hour walking per day and a caloric intake of somewhere between 1500 - 1750. Thank you for your time and I hope I come out the other end of this adventure 45 or more pounds lighter! :)

Hi Dylan. I joined yesterday and have 87lbs to lose to hit an ideal weight for me - so it'll be a long journey but I've lost 11lbs since April 2nd so am staying positive! Maybe start a diary in the Weight Loss Diary section and keep track of your progress with some support from other similar souls!

Welcome to the forum.

Those rich creamy sauces are not good for any of our figures...

Well done for making the decision to deal with your weight increase and for having stuck with your new lifestyle for the past fortnight. Walking and controlling calories are both excellent moves. I am sure that you will soon be seeing the results that you want.
