I just wanted to say hi and tell you a little bit about myself.

My name is Lilith and I'm from Adelaide. My weight has always been something that I consider a work in progress although I 've had it mostly under control thanks to many many diets and exercise regimes. Unfortunately I lost my father unexpectedly late last year and this has seen me gain kilos as I have formed the habit of bingeating to cope with the sadness and stress. So here I am, 6 kilos heavier with a dreadful spare tyre :piggy:, none of my clothes fit me and I've decided that I need to do something about this! I've joined Lite N Easy and am on the 1200 calorie program, today is day 2.

I look forward to hearing your stories and swapping tips :party:

Sorry to hear about your father.

You seem to be well on the road to recovery now with your new program. I am sure you will get there if you already have plenty of history keeping your weight well managed.

The Diary room is a good place to plot your path and get support on a regular basis.

Can you do me a favour some time when you get the chance. Can you look at one of my food diary entries and give me a sense of how much more than 1200 calories you think it is. Or by writing out your own food dairy, which is probably a far better way for me to assess this question, I can see what 1200 looks like.

I don't want to count the calories in my diet. I simply find the tools i've tried to use too cumbersome. My diary is called "i'm aiming for 59kg)

I'm also an Aussie but from Queensland. There are probably less than 5 aussies on at the moment so the more the merrier.
