Hello all my name is Nicole . I joined a few days ago hoping to get in touch with other people out there like me . I started my diet on Monday and will continue until I reach my goal of a 55 pound weight loss.

Welcome to the forums. Do you have a plan on how to lose? Have a read of the stickies they are really helpful for working out a plan. I've been counting cals and trying to increase my exercise which has been working for me.

As far as a plan I have just been trying to eat more healthy you know fruit and veggies and I have a treadmill and exercise bike I have been using daily .
 
Eating healthier is great and can lead to weight loss but be careful. Just because it is healthy doesn't mean you are reducing your calorie intake. Sometimes you wind up increasing it without realizing it. Read your labels and learn some simple portion controls and knowledge about the calories in your fruits and veggies.
