New to this forum, but not to the game...:blush5:

It's the umpteenth time I'm trying to get through this. I'm not motivated enough but I want to lose this weight so badly - for many reasons. I wish I could garner enough push to get through and I hope the strategies in this forum will serve as inspiration. As is obvious, I want to lose about 120 pounds. I weigh close to 280 pounds currently. I'm female, about 5'11-6 feet tall. 160 pounds would be perfect but I've been told that 170-190 pounds isn't too bad for my body type. It'll be great to find a computer program or website that illustrates (with pictures) weight and clothing size according to body shape and height, just so I have an idea of what will work. Wishful thinking though lol. We'll see how it goes.

Either way, I have a long way to go. I'm power walking and going on a new diet

Best motivation I can think of is right there under your nose. You have to do it for yourself. We can help...lots of losers here and lots of before and after pics....but you need to make the commitment for yourself.

I wasted about 20 yrs being overweight. I had to give my head a shake....here life was passing me by and I was unhappy with myself. It would eat a pizza and feel like a king and then look at myself the next day and see the fool. About two months ago I took control. Nothing really to brag about, but slowly and surely..I am doing it.

And I know you can do it. 1 pound at a time.
