Hello new to this site as I am looking for some more support and banter with fellow people who are looking to lose weight.
I'm from London, UK, age 31 and trying to get back in shape!!!
I have joined a weightloss plan online called Cook Yourself Thin but the boards there are very quiet!!!
I started the plan again 5 weeks ago at 12st after previously doing it a year ago with relative success... I went from 12st 7lbs to 10st 5lbs. I then got an injury and had piled on the weight again in the course of a year.
I currently weigh in at 11st exactly, and my goal weight is to be 9st 5lbs or their abouts which is just right for my height at 5"4.
After a hard first couple of weeks struggling to get into excercising (my body was crying out "NO!!!" lol) I am now running daily for for 45mins, on the gravity glider for another 45 minutes and doing free weights for 10 or so minutes and I am enjoying it.
Now when I'm bored or their is nothing on the tv, I get on the treadmill or glider for an extra session for a few minutes.
I hope everyone is successful in their quest for weight loss and also for a fitter lifestyle! And I hope I will continue to have the motivation to carry on as it's my aim to lose about 2lbs per week
