Hello I'm new to this site. I am 18 years old and I have started to lose weight.
Back in October 6 2008 I weighed around 320s. I never felt horrible or nasty but
it seems other people really did, being called fat boy or fat ass all my life really
sucked. I never really felt sad about being called that but on October 15th, I finally
decided to lose the weight. I was just tired of buying 3xls and I had to stretch them
so they fit nicely. I think it was the best decision I made in my life.
I started slowly walking 30 minutes a day and eating fruits, wheat, vegetables.I cut off
fast food for good and only drank water. Now I weigh 204lbs, and it feels great. I can wear
L shirts and size 34 pants, I never thought I would wear those before. I lost 116lbs in 8 months,
just by walking and eating healthy. But now my goal is 150lbs and I am going to work harder to do it.
But my past still taunts me, since school just finished I got my yearbook, I felt so sad when I saw my yearbook picture... I was so huge when they took my picture, which was October 6. Just
seeing myself for the first time I was amazed how big I was, but I am glad those days are over and
now I can continue with my weight loss and live a active healthy life.
Hope i'm not rambling but It feels weird being called a fat ass all your life and then being
thin in a short period. Anyways glad to be in the forums!

That's really awesome. You've come a long way, and you have the right attitude!

I'm starting the same way, eating better, exercising and drinking water. I hope to be as successful as you.

Even though I am glad I lost 116lbs I still got 55-60lbs to lose. I know I can do it and it's nice starting while being young. When I first started it was rough, I remember binging on
oreo cookies and over eating pasta, but that did not stop me from loosing weight. I hope you don't give up because it feels great to wear any clothing you like and not being embarrassed around others.

Heya, welcome to the forums

Congrats on the weight loss! keep it up! the last bits are the hardest! I did tons in the first 8-12 months and then really dragged the last bit out (ok i admit i never quiet got the last 5-10 off!)
