Hey all, i've been reading and researching fat loss the last couple weeks and found this site a few days ago and have been reading it since and decided to join! I'm 5'7ish and weigh 180 pounds. My ultimate goal is to drop to about 12% bodyfat. I have a couple questions i hope somebody could help me with though. First, according to online formulas, my BMR is 1909 - 1927. Now should i add more to that when i exercise? and second of all, can anyone recommend a good bodyfat caliper? i want a way to measure how i am doing by something other than a scale.
 
Some BMR calculators incorporate your general activity level, so if it didn't ask you questions about how active you are, then yes you would add more calories.

I'm not sure about the caliper question.
