Hi all,

I am a 22 year old female currently weighing 152lbs. In the past two years, I've lost about 50lbs so far and now I'm struggling to lose the last 17lbs. My weight goal is 135. Since my weight affects my self-esteem majorly, accomplishing this goal, and keeping the weight off for good, is very important to me.

I joined this forum for advice, inspiration, and to read about other success stories. Hopefully it can help inspire me to accomplish my weight loss goal.

:)

Welcome to WLF

Welcome to the forum. I hope you find that some great advice and motivation and support here. This board is great. There are a lot of nice people and have some great advice. I just started here a week ago and have already gotten some great advice. Hope you can reach your goal. Do you have a time period for when you would like to lose the 17 lbs that your working towards?

Anyways good luck

I'd like to lose it in the next 3 months (by the end of October). I think this is realistic and healthy. It's around 1 lb per week.

I've keep trying, then failing, then trying, then failing. I'd like to just accomplish my goal once and for all! I know I CAN do it, I just need to somehow keep myself on track. I lost the first 50 by keeping myself on track, and I've kept it off, now I just need to motivate myself to finish!

This forum seems great from what I've read so far!

Good luck to you too!

First off congrats on losing the first 50 pounds!! Most people don't make it that far. You've accomplished things that many people here would be envious of.

The last few pounds are always the hardest to lose. You basically have to tell yourself that it will happen but it may not be as easy as the first 50. The things that worked before may not work as well now.

Just stay with it and stay positive.
