Hello =} Im a 32 year old female and I just started my weight loss in July of this year. I decided to go to weight watchers when my mom asked me to go with her. I agreed because I had been wanting to do something about my weight for years. When I went in and signed up I just knew this was the road to a new and better life. They weighed me in at 250 at just 5'3".... and I realized how badly out of control I was. I started following their core program for a month or so but wasnt very happy so I switched to the points and found I was so much happier. I started swimming, water aerobics, Leslie Sansone's walking videos ( I started out at a mile and now im up to 3 ) I did tredmill, and Tony Little's total body shape up. Ive always been able to be flexiable and active even at 250, so exercising was not a big deal for me.
Its now 4 months later I have lost 55 pounds and I am 195 pounds. My BMI is down from 44.3 to 34.5 and Im down from a size 22 jeans to a 18 and those are quickly becoming lose on me. At Thanksgiving I was able to buy a beautiful party dress in a size 14-16 = ) The best part was I didnt look like a total slob and everyone that had not seen me recently was just amazing at my progress. For the first time I am now less than my husband, but I am encouraging him to do better too, He is 5'11 and 198 pounds.
Im here to meet people like me for friendship, support and maybe we can trade some tips too
