Hello everyone,
I just wanted to take the time and say “Hello” and introduce myself to the forum. I have been lifting for nearly 20 yrs, initially starting with powerlifting then moved into bodybuilding. For the last several years my regiment primarily consists with strength training. I use a split-body routine for the most part than shake things up every 3 or 4 weeks by incorporating a complete body weight resistance program. After a little experimenting I have found that my body responds in a positive way to this 3-4 week schedule.
I also have had the good fortune the last few years of working with an elite group of guys who design custom strength tools for some premiere athletes, military and law enforcement agencies, which in turn has allowed me to meet and talk with many of them. If there has been one common piece of advice that has echoed throughout these conversations for establishing consistency & longevity in ones training, it has been: Learn to adapt your training to meet the amount of time you realistically can maintain it.
Train Hard Train Smart
