Hello Everyone new on this board

I am a active running who took it up again 3 months ago after 18 months without working out reg. and it showed up in the scales. I have lost 35 pounds so far and joined a gym to help me get back into shape. I still have quite a ways to get back to where i was before but I am making progress. I am up to 30-35 miles a week now and aiming to do a half-marathon in April (my longest run so far is 10miles) I am looking for advice to help me get more fit without getting myself hurt
 
do not hurt myself; that was your last sentence. you know your body; running can be challenging on roadways;
difficult on knees and other joints. stretching helps; yoga; be gentle with yourself; getting fit is your goal;

You are already up to a decent weekly mileage. You can bump that up a little each week (up to 10% / week) if you want. You might also want to take up a weight training program. That will accelerate the fat loss (assuming you don't eat more to compensate).
