Hello everyone, just introducing myself!

Hey everyone

My name is Jenn. I'm 23 yrs old, 24 in March, and live in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

I used to be fairly active in sports, and LOVED to run ... but needless to say that kind of disappeared over the years ...

Anyway, I'm looking to get back into SOME sort of fitness routine, even if it's just running and working on my abs.

I don't want to be cut up, or gain any weight necessarily, I just want to look more toned, and get my abs showing.

I am doing a modeling promotion for a car show, with the pics being submitted to national magazines, in 2 1/2 weeks and want to at least see some sort of progress in that time haha.

Like I said, I am 23, b/t 5'5 and 5'6 and I weigh b/t 110 and 115 lbs.

Thanks for the welcome!

Yeah, we do have awesome food. I've never really had to watch what I eat, my weight now is the most I've ever weighed. It's super hard for me to put on weight. I usually just fluctuate between 110 and 115.

Like I said, not looking to lose any weight, and I'm not one of those skinny girls who goes around saying she's fat and needs to lose weight. HaHa

Just want to have a more toned look and feel, and maybe have some definition to my stomach.

Oh yeah, and I'll be sure to post pics. LoL :p

As of right now all I really have planned is to start running again, and doing ab exercises.

I'd be open to suggestions though =)

What about strength training? A full body workout 3x a week. I've been using The New Rules of Lifting by Lou Schuler and Alwyn Cosgrove.
 
just a suggestion..

to get those abs that everyone wants, you would have to lower your body fat %. Being only 110 - 115, I would focus on trying to pack on some muscle, then cutting the fat.
