Hello everyone, finally decided to make an appearance!

Hi everyone i just wanted to introduce myself. My name is jeff, i'm from texas and i'm a pharmacy technician. After finding this site early last year i've managed to shed off 55 lbs. starting weight was 270 current weight is 215. You all have been quite the boost in morale i've been looking for! I'm hoping to soon reach my goal weight of 180 before i start resistance training! :D
 
Hey, and omg, congratulations on the weight loss so far! That is fantastic.

And I agree, you should start the resistance training now, why wait? There are some good posts in the exercise thread about a starting routine.

Look at it this way, wieght lifting does burn calories, and when you reach your goal, you will already have all that muscle on ya!

I will definately start working some resistances training into my workouts. I work out 5 times a week and take the weekends off. I'll keep everyone posted on my progress!

congrats. I just recently joined...about 5mins ago. I hope I have as much success as you have had.
