Hey everyone,

Well, It's pretty obvious that I'm new here :D. I'm really happy that I found this forum, everyone seems very friendly and I feel like I'm not the only one in the weight loss world. I'm normally a very shy person, so doing this is a big step for me.

Now to introduce myself...

My name is Brittney, I'm 15 years old and my 16th birthday is in September. My goal is to lose a lot of my weight before my next birthday, since I would love to look and feel better for it.

Any suggestions where I should start on here?

I would start by making a journal and telling us a little more about yourself. How do you plan on going about your weight loss? How much weight do you have to lose? Those kinds of things.

Hi brit:) Welcome to the forum! This has been a great place for me and the people here are so nice and friendly and helpful:) There are a few websites which are nice for keeping track of your progress: fitday.com and sparkpeople.com . They both do the same thing in different ways and I have heard sparkpeople is more user friendly but I love fitday for myself. Good luck and congrats on taking this step:D
