Hi...I was searching the net for advice and came across this site, after having a brief browse there seem to be many on here who seem very knowledgeable.
My name is Amanda and I’m 45 but still think I’m 25! Up until I was 38 I weighed 51.43 kilo and measured 33-26-28, I ate like a horse and didn’t exercise apart from walk everywhere.
Over the past 7 years my weight has increased dramatically, I am now 64 kilos and I now measure 38-31-30, I have been tested for thyroid twice (once recently) but this has come back normal.
I attend the gym on average twice a week where I do my weights (arms abs legs) I lift around 8000 kilos and I usually do 20-30 mins on cardio (bike & cross trainer), I also eat less then I used to. For instance I’ll have a slice of toast for breakfast, lunch is usually a sandwich with prawn salad/cheese salad and then I have a dinner. The only meat I eat is chicken breast and have done for 33 years, but I mainly eat fish. I know that my intake is on average 1800 calories per day.
My weight is beginning to get me down and it seems that the less I eat and more I exercise the fatter I get, I’m happy with my breasts as they were too small before and they are now bigger and firm, I’m also happy with my hips as I’m still quite small but I measure the bit inbetween and it seems to be getting bigger and bigger
Can anyone suggest why this might be and what can I do to lose the weight around this bit of my body.
thanks
