Hello and a question - Research

I thought I would register and then message an admin or mod about this, but apparently messages are disabled when one first registers? So I'll post here. Hello, all. I'm a graduate student, as if my screenname didn't give that away. I was referred here when I asked somebody where I might find people willing to help with my thesis study. I don't want to just post the research request without first making sure it does not violate any rules here. I know a lot of online spaces work hard to keep out spam, so if a mod or admin or somebody else would want to review the research invitation first, I would be happy to send it privately for approval. Or if it is simply not acceptable here, that's okay too.

I'm not a mod, but I'm doubt it would be a problem. We like education around here.

I appreciate your asking before posting... posting first would surely lead to a delete of the post...

Whether the questions are allowed or not is dependent on what the question is... if it's questions that you are wiling to make public and can lead to discussion here, then yes it's ok - if it's a poll sort of request where we're being taken to a different site, and we get no benefit from the questins being askedn then probably not.
