Hello Everyone,
I am a long time on and off lifter who due to some medical concerns, found the motivation to make some major life changes. In the last 2 years I have dropped from 322 to 258 while bringing my squat and dead lift both back to over 400lbs. Barring cancer or HIV, I will always be a big boy, but that doesn't mean I have to be a fat big boy! I have also been nicotine free since 11/5/10. I have struggled with intermittent clottication due to Peripheral Artery Disease that lead to a femoral to femoral bypass. This was the catalyst to get my Lipids, Type II Diabetes, and Blood pressure in check (Don't worry, all that stuff is in good shape now.) I am nearly 44 years old and have a 21 year old son and a 9 year old son who I want to stick around for. Simply put, my boys are my heart. I am pretty content where I am health wise but would like to be "full blown beast mode" at least once before I die. My current goal weight is 245 but I am unwilling to sacrifice strenght to get there, as piling on more plates is what keeps me motivated.
Anyways, I will be repping for Ageforce here on the forums and am looking forward to being a part of this community, learning from it's members and hopefully being a positive influence here also.
