:newbie:Hello All! Newbie here just saying hiya and tell ya a little about myself. Not much to tell, my name is Gina, 25 years old, 3 kids(6 year old boy/girl twins and 23 month old boy), married 7 years, and bubbly personality. I've tried just about every diet out there, even a strange baby food diet, but always seem to lose my willpower and just give up. I need a good support system, ya know someone to tell me to get my butt in gear and to quit whining lol. I've just started a exercise dvd with Jennifer Galardi who seems to enjoy kicking my butt lol, and am awaiting the arrival of a 2nd dvd thats a absoluter beginners guide to belly dancing. Hopefully I can keep up and they seem like they will keep my attention longer than anything else I've tried. I am only 5'2" and weigh 176lbs and hope to get down to at least 130lbs. My biggest problem is I don't have the funds to buy the expensive diet foods that they advertise on TV nor even enough Lean Cuisens to last a week lol. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Hope to make great friends here.

Hey Gina,

Welcome to the forum. Check out the stickie threads on nutrition, it will give you a good base of how to get started. And from my experience you dont have to be rich to eat healthy... I myself am just a poor college kid, but I am still able to make good choices in the grocery store on a tight budget.

I am also an avid DVD work-outter... Hopefully you enjoy your workouts... I have got my butt kicked plently of times in my own living room!

Don't fall for that expensive diet food crap. Eat whole, healthy foods and watch the weight go down along with the grocery budget.
