Hi all,

Nice to be here, just joined as it's high time I got rid of this gut once and for all.

I have recently come out of a long relationship, and am trying to restart my life, as it were. My biggest problems are my job, which is odd shifts and doesn't let me get into any kind of regular pattern, so I have reallypiled on the weight just eating what ever's handy, when I have the chance to. Also I have a terrible habit of eating when I am bored!

Looking forward to getting started.

I am in the UK too.

Start a diary. We all visit each other's diaries and motivate each other like that. If you havent got a diary - no-one will visit or encourage you.

Check out some other people's diaries and see what kind of things people are doing.

It is the start of the month. There are some challenges just starting up - see if there are any you want to join. I know that there are some exercise challenges and some weight loss for December challenges that you could join.

Read the sticky threads. There is a lot of good advice.
