Heat Loss

So I was thinking about some simple biology and stuff, and came up with:

Ok, so 80% of a human energy is turned into heat for the body, and is eventually lost into the atmosphere (unless you keep it there with clothes, blankets, heaters e.t.c.). The colder the whether, the more calories you are bound to consume.

So... does that mean if you make you're house cold as hell and walk around in nothing but your socks make you lose more weight? :sifone:

there's been some "tips" offered on the intranet - that to lose weight - you should sleep in a freezer without blankets... that shivering and the bodys attempt to keep itself warm cause calories to be expended...

I'm thinking there are better ways...

But i've actually seen some pretty chunky nudists - so...

eat right and exercise -and keep your clothes on :)

I have heard that cold stimulates the appetite so you are more likely to eat more when you are chilly than when you are at a comfortable temperature.

God Bless,

Ahh ok so I'm not on the verge of a breakthrough. I'll keep my clothes on then :'(

hey -i'm the perfect candidate for a nude beach - it's always the people who go to them that NO ONE wants to see nekkid :)
