Healthy snacks

Can anyone suggest healthy but also filling snacks? (Not fruit as I eat this at other times of the day) I have a manual job and get hungry at 11am.
 
I like the low fat string cheese myself, or the baby-bell lights. Bowl of instant oatmeal works well (I like the 'weight control' because it adds extra protein & fiber), and I like the taste of the FiberOne or FiberPlus bars. Greek yogurt is also one of my faves, I get it plain and then throw in a fiber enriched sweetener (splenda with fiber or inulin) and maybe a touch of honey, or fruit.

Cut veggies are also good, carrots, peppers, celery (if you're hungry enough to eat celery, you need food!) All of these go well in hummus - as apparently does cheese according to my husband...

Handful of almonds is also not bad, but it's easy to get lots of calories with them if you're not careful :)

Thanks for the ideas. I love Celery:smilielol5: I'll try some cut veggies. If anyone has any recipes for a fiber bar I could make at home I'd be grateful.
 
All of the things Jeanette mentioned are great snack options. I use those as snack for me and my husband all week.
I'll add a few more: Hard Boiled Eggs, Homemade Cheese and Cracker Sandwich Minis (using a laughing cow cheese wedge), or Mixed Nuts.
Sometimes, I eat half of what could be considered a meal. For example: 1/2 a wrap, 3 Sushi or a few Shrimp (sometimes with cocktail sauce).
