healthy fast food?

It worked for Jared so I don't see why not.

A person can even lose weight eating strictly Mcdonald's food if they just count calories and have the smaller meals creating the caloric deficit they need to lose weight.

That and exercise of course.

I mean you could... but then again, figure it out money wise and whether you can see yourself just eating sandwhiches all through your weight loss journey. If anything, you want your diet to have variety... so it's really up to you and how much cash you have to burn. hahaaa Also.... keep in mind.... even the "low fat" subs are high in sodium. If you suffer from high blood pressure I would say screw it and just create your own balanced diet. Good luck with it.

a diet solely based on subway sandwiches isn't going to give you much variety, which usually leads to binging, plus it'd come up short on a lot of nutrients -

you want fruit and vegetables in your diet and lettuce and tomato on a sandwich aren't really full servings of vegetables.

The answer is, yes, if you ate three subway sandwiches a day (one for each meal) and nothing else, you would probably lose weight. But the concerns brought up by CrunkChipmunk, MsGhettoBooty and maleficent are very real.

Advantages: convenient, tasty if you like Subway, straightforward (i.e. not many food decisions to make).

Disadvantages: very expensive, low variety of nutrients (especially not enough fruits and vegetables), can get boring after a while, relies on having a Subway near you at all mealtimes.

In the end, it's a question of how this diet suits your particular situation.

Yes you can but it is not recomended. You will need lots of nutrients and a Subway diet will empty your wallet.

you can, but what's the point if you don't learn how to cook healthy food yourself. are you willing to eat fast food for the rest of your life?

think life change, not short term.

I agree with everyone - although this worked for Jared, it is not an ideal meal method. Besides, after you reach your weight loss goals, are you going to want to continue eating at Subway all the time? Probably not! If you want to continue to stay healthy - eating a proper diet will help keep the weight off after you have lost it. So unless you want to eat at Subway for the rest of your life, I'd come up with a different diet solution:p
