Haven't been here in months. I'm back on the wagon.

Hello everyone! I haven't checked in since July. I went on vacation and kinda threw the diet out the window for a while and gained back a few pounds at that time (I was down about 18 lbs. before falling off). This time, I've began following South Beach which is basically a healthy balanced diet of lean protein, whole grain, lots of veggies, etc. I'm now down another 10 lbs. in 4 weeks at a weight of 174. I feel great, eat plenty, and my clothes are getting so loose. While this diet doesn't count calories, portion control is important and limited servings of grain (2-3 per day) is important. I've learned tons and now I know what I was doing wrong before that took me 6 months to lose the 18 lbs.
