wow danjillhaijon07 I'm really glade you posted that link. I'm a mom of 5 and I've allways joked about my batle scares. I used to be able to tell which ones were from which children, well at least untill number 4. Now I'm just one big streatch mark, lol. Not really but I am conserned that after all said and done, after all the weight is off, then what? There is nothing you can do about strech marks. I haven't cared because of my weight, or I told myself I didn't care. Gees that's depressing. That site is right, we don't "see" the after baby bodies of women, that aren't covered up.

Hope2 (learn to spell, lol)

we just have to bare with it once it is there. its normal to have stretch marks ,the problem is how to get rid of them!

Excercising with weight resistance helps alot as far as toning, as well as eating well balanced meals with adequate amounts of protein - then slather on the cocoa butter! They will fade over time. However if you are looking for something a little more intense - thermage is supposed to be great for stretch marks.

bio oil works wonders. Just make sure you use it everyday. Pure coconut oil works well too.

I have seen this site before, in a way it makes me feel a little better about my body. I have strechmarks VERY bad, along my tummy, outside and inside of my thighs and inner calfs. I HATE HATE HATE them, but have come to the conclusion that there is nothing you can do about it, but waste time, money and hope on products that claim to work. This is me and even though i dont like it, at least I know and can see, im not alone! =)
BTW, i would be in for your idea!

I never had kids, so I have no battle scars. My boobs are unscathed, my belly is flat, and the only stretch marks I have are between my ears :D

My sister has three kids. She didn't get stretch marks, but her body took a beating. It bothered her that I could run around in a bikini and she couldn't. But in the scheme of things, she has much, much more than I could ever dream of having.

So wear your battle scars proudly because what you have all done is bless the world with a new generation. And you will live on in your children ...

Mother's rule!!! :)

This website helped me significantly! I actually found it when I was pregnant and worried about how my body would look afterward. Being 23, I don't want to be known as the young fat mom. The site really helped me understand that we should be proud of our changes and that it will only take time to feel comfortable with ourselves.

Thanks for posting that site... I was 17 when I had my first son, 19 when I had my 2nd son and 21 with I had my boy/girl twins and it has done some effect on my body with stretch marks.. I am glad to see there are other women out there just like me... I hate them and I have to get by by tellin my boyfriend you know you love my fireflames LOL

That's a cool site. Sometimes I feel so alone with my stretched-marked body, and it's comforting to know I'm not the only one living with them. And life goes on. :hurray:

I_love_muscle, thanks for your kind words. Sometimes we need to be reminded that, in the long run, what we do counts for more than how we look.

That's a great site, thanks for posting danjillhaijon07. I have had 4 children. With proper exercise and nutrition I was able to get back to my prepreggers weight very quickly this time, so people tend to look at me and think "I bet she doesn't have stretch marks" I do. I have a LOT and I also have extra skin. I have learned how to hide the extra skin when I dance but I'm very self conscious about it. I find myself avoiding certain moves because my skin flaps over. It hangs over my pants and the stretch marks pucker up and create these deep creases all over my lower abs. Thank you for sharing that site. We give life so that makes us all beautiful!!

I'm not a mom, or even pregnant for that matter...

But I really liked that site and will definitely spend a lot more time on it once it's time for me to be a mom!

Aww that site is brilliant. My stomach is horrible since having my daughter. :(
