Have you ever tried these programs?? I need advice on which to choose

Hi, I have recently decided to start trying to lose weight and begin a healthier life. Therefore, I have begun my research on a few different programs that have caught my eye. The programs consist of : BILL PHILLIPS' THE TRANSFORMATION SOLUTION, THE DIET SOLUTION PROGRAM, and FAT LOSS 4 IDIOTS. If you have ever tried any of these or are familiar with them please get back to me. Thanks!
 
Most 'weight loss programs' are designed to make the people who invented them money, and are far from helpful.

You don't need any of those programs. A change to a healthier, calorie controlled diet and some exercise will work miracles, and it is a lot cheaper than some program which will achieve nothing in the long run.
 
weight loss for idiots isn't bad. but you have to learn how to change your habits on your own, also. I don't know about the others.
 
I also agree with San.
I should say you don't need any programs. You should start motivating yourself that you need to lose weight and start by discipline yourself to the foods you are eating and efforts to do exercise. Programs like that are just a waste of money because you can do it on your own without the help of any programs.

I'm not familiar with any of those plans. The best thing you can do is to add exercise into your routine and gradually learn how to make healthier nutrition choices Some of the more common things that people start with are:

- cutting out junk food (both sugary & salty)
- eating less takeaway or restaurant food
- cutting out soda & juice
- drink more water
- eat more vegetables and fruits
- reduce the amount of caffeine you drink (if you drink it)
- reduce the amount of alcohol you drink ( if you drink it)

It's sometimes overwhelming to change many things at once, so what I usually tell people is to start with one or two, work on those until you've got a good handle on them, then gradually add more of those healthy changes.

Also, take a look around the site to see what other people have done, you should find some good info!
