Have I hit a plateau?

I've been losing weight steadily for the last 9 months or so. I went from 110kg\244lbs to 86kg\189lbs as of two weeks ago. [I'm 182cm\6ftish tall, btw]

Since then, however, I've suddenly stopped losing weight and, according to the scales, I've since gone up to 89kg\196lbs. I've been going to the gym 3-4 times a week since the end of May, and I lost 7lbs or so in the first two weeks. I haven't changed my diet at all (I've tried not to eat more because of my new exercise regimen), so I'm baffled as to why I'm not losing weight any more. And, possibly, gaining it again.

I've been feeling desperately tired for ages, and I've been suspecting it could be allergies\hayfever or something causing water retention. Could water retention amount to as much as 7-8 lbs, though?

I'd be very grateful if some of you lovely people could advise me. :)

You mentioned that you havn't changed your diet.

CAUTION: NON-EXPERT ADVICE WARNING

Try switching up your diet. Your body adapts to change and therefore you need to keep mixing it up and make it unpredictable for your body to guess your next move. Think of it like a game of chess where you are playing against yourself. You keep making the same move everyday and your body will adapt and begin to counter it.

Maybe take a 1 day break and increase your calorie intake to kick start your metabolism.
