The package says you can have it up to 3 times a day. It depends on the day, usually for sure 1 time sometimes I'll use it twice. I haven't had any side effects with it. If you're concerned maybe try the pouches first, they're a little bit cheaper and you can try it out first? My husband can't drink it immediately before working out because he doesn't feel well then. It doesn't bother me to do that, then again he works out slightly harder than I do. I don't get jittery, but I know someone who has a caffeine sensitivity and they got jittery on it. Overall, I think it will vary from person to person how exactly it'll work for you. My husband finds that it works better for him with room temperature water, it doesn't really matter for me what temperature the water is, but it does seem to work better for me if I drink it on an empty stomach.
