Does anyone consider themselves to be addicted to food? Have the meetings benefitted anyone?

I have been to a few meetings over the past few years. I don't consider myself addicted to food, but I definately have food issues.

Has anyone else tried groups?

I understand weight watchers has meetings. Are those helpful?

Thanks

M

i think the two biggest factors (in my case, anyway), when it comes to eating is: 1) idle hands ... if I'm bored, i eat 2) crutch ... if I'm stressed or something is going seriously wrong in my life ... the fridge is always there for me :)

when it comes to idle hands i'd rather smoke than eat!
