I'd be delighted if people would participate in this thread;

I know many of you have Halloween goals, whether it's weight loss or body re-composition, and I'm extremely interested in hearing about your personal experience and how it ties in to your recent weight loss efforts--of course, even if you don't reach your goals, please post anyway! Don't be embarrassed, we're all here for support!!!
Can you mention:
--your town or city during Halloween (as I imagine many of you Big City people have Off the Hook celebrations)
--your weight goals
--your costume for this year
--pictures of your past costumes
--Follow up:
Did you reach your goal(s)?
Anything crazy/exciting happen?
Did you get any compliments?
Do you have pictures to share?
Ok I'll start
Santa Cruz is a small town--like 55,000 people or so. But Halloween is a HUGE ordeal--they barricade the main drag, and all sorts of people, young and old, come out in costumes and roam the streets. It's pretty insane--people come from different towns (like San Jose and Gilroy and Salinas) for the event. Even the weekend before (if on a weekday) people are dressed up and barhopping. It's a bit dangerous, as well, as many stabbings occur, mostly between gang members. I've also heard of people injecting others with things. I personally haven't seen much of this behavior, but it's hard to see anything because it's so crowded! One of the best costumes I've seen was a giant redwood tree....someone had actual bark all over an 7-foot tall redwood tree and they were holding real branches out the top as they walked carefully around!
My weight goal is to be 145 lbs, but as long as I look good in my costume I'll be happy
My costume is a secret
In 2005 I was a schoolgirl with my BF as a pimp at 148 lbs (and a fake tan that made me look even thinner!) and in 2006 I was The White Rabbit with my girl friend as Alice at 155 lbs.
