The gym in our town doesn't really have an instructor. It has a receptionist/instructor and he doesn't really help "newbies". I went in one time for the first time, he kinda helped me(he was busy with other professional body builders"). For the second time, he was so busy doing something else, I didn't know what to do so I left. I still want to get some exercise and this is the only gym in our town.
there are instructions online on how to use some of the equipment properly but i was wondering what equipment should I use and how often? (my gym has the standards only, not those really complicated stuff)
and second, what about stretching/cooling off? I could really find anything online about those stuff. Do I have to stretch everytime I use a machine? or do i just have to stretch one time for the entire workout?
